Patrick Geneva is a PhD candidate at the University of Delaware pursuing degree in Computer Science in the College of Engineering. He is interested in the areas of robotics and state estimation and is under the direction of Guoquan Huang in Robot Perception and Navigation Group (RPNG). His primary focus is in the areas of simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) and visual-inertial navigation systems (VINS). He received a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering with minors in Computer Science & Mathematics from the University of Delaware in 2017. He is the recipient of the University Doctoral Fellowship Award (2021), NASA Delaware Space Grant (DESG) Graduate Fellowship (2019 and 2022), and Mary and George Nowinski Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Research Award (2017).
